What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They serve various purposes — from keeping a site functional to helping us understand how visitors use it. They do not contain personal information on their own, but in combination with other data they may identify you.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling certain cookies may affect how the site works.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These are required for the website to function. They cannot be switched off. They include cookies that manage session state, security tokens, and your cookie consent preference itself.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and where they came from. This data is anonymised and helps us improve the site. Analytics cookies are only activated if you accept them.
Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies allow us to understand the effectiveness of any advertising campaigns. At present we use these sparingly, and they are inactive unless you have consented.
Preference Cookies
These remember settings you have chosen — such as your cookie consent selection — so you are not asked repeatedly on each visit.
Third-Party Cookies
Our site may load content from third-party services such as Google Fonts and Google Maps. These services may set their own cookies. We do not control third-party cookies. Refer to Google's privacy documentation for details.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies — remain for a set period (typically 1–12 months)
- Your consent preference is stored in your browser's localStorage and does not expire automatically
