Three Ways to Support an Older Person at Home

Every arrangement is calibrated to a specific situation β€” whether a family needs temporary relief, overnight coverage, or sustained full-dimension care.

Our Approach

A Process Designed Around the Individual

Before any service begins, a coordinator meets with the family to understand the elder's daily routine, health considerations, personal preferences, and the specific needs the family wants addressed. This information forms the basis of a written care plan.

The care plan guides every shift. Aides are briefed on it fully before the first visit, and it is updated whenever circumstances change. Nothing is left to assumption.

1

Initial Consultation

A coordinator listens to the family's situation and needs. No-obligation conversation, usually 30–45 minutes.

2

Care Plan Preparation

A detailed written plan is prepared covering all care duties, preferences, and any health notes provided by the family.

3

Introductory Visit

The assigned aide meets the elder and family before care begins. A brief settling-in period is built into the first engagement.

4

Ongoing Reporting

Written updates after each care period. Coordinator available for questions. Plan reviewed regularly and updated as needed.

Quality Standards We Maintain

Safety Protocols

Fall prevention, safe transfers, medication management, and emergency escalation procedures are standard in every engagement.

Privacy and Discretion

All information shared about the client remains strictly within the care team. Aides sign confidentiality agreements before placement.

Dignity as a Standard

All personal care is carried out with full regard for the elder's comfort, preferences, and sense of self β€” without rushing or shortcuts.

Health Observation Logs

Aides record observations on appetite, mood, mobility, and physical condition after each engagement for family and coordinator review.

Service 01

Weekend Respite Care

A trained Fernvale aide takes full responsibility for care across Saturday and Sunday, allowing family caregivers to step back, rest properly, and return without the accumulated fatigue that erodes long-term caregiving capacity. Personal hygiene, meals, medication, light household tasks, and companionship are all included within the agreed scope.

This service suits families who are the primary caregivers during the week and need reliable, professional coverage over weekends. It can also be used to cover a specific occasion β€” a trip, medical appointment, or period away.

What Is Included

  • Personal hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing)
  • Meal preparation and supervised eating
  • Medication management and reminders
  • Light housekeeping (kitchen, bathroom, living areas)
  • Companionship and gentle engagement activities
  • Post-weekend written summary for family

Nighttime Monitoring & Comfort

An aide remains present and alert through the night, responding to bathroom visits, repositioning needs, comfort adjustments, and any distress. This service is suited to individuals who wake frequently, have increased fall risk after dark, require overnight medication, or whose conditions make unsupervised nighttime hours a concern.

The aide remains in a designated area of the home and is available immediately when needed. Family members can sleep knowing someone is present and attentive throughout the night.

What Is Included

  • Evening through morning coverage (typically 9 PM – 7 AM)
  • Assistance with nighttime bathroom visits
  • Repositioning and pressure-area care
  • Overnight medication schedule management
  • Fall risk monitoring and immediate response
  • Morning handover report for family

Starting From

NT$18,300
